Joanell's exhibit

I am so behind in posting. Here are three pieces I whipped out especially for an exhibit that is currently going on in Long Beach. It's a mostly solo show by Joanell Connolly featuring her beautiful work, with an additional "wall" of 12x12 pieces by a few of her art quilt friends. It's at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Long Beach, 5450 E. Atherton St., Long Beach. I don't know how long the exhibit will hang, so see it while you can!

Family photos

We had a family gathering on Sunday, with a few friends. So nice to get the family together! These are the first of a collection of photos taken while our daughter and granddaughter were in town. That's our friend Linda with her granddaughter Madeline in the first photo. 

Old friends

Today I went out to lunch with these fine women. We all used to live on or near Farragut Street in the Northwood neighborhood of Irvine. Some still do! We all have kids about the same age.
