Tree

Here's this year's iteration of our Christmas tree. Nice, huh? C for Cookseyville, lol.

Flower girl, ice cream devourer

I haven't posted these on my blog yet. They include more flower girl photos, plus a cute photo of Sammy taking an enormous bite of ice cream, from last summer.

Saffron is back

I am happy to have my quilt, "Saffron in the Park," back from its travels. It is hanging amongst my holiday decor.

This is the quilt that was part of the Dinner at 8 Reflections exhibit at Houston Quilt Festival. It also appeared in the October- November issue of Quilting Arts Magazine. It was inspired by photos that a friend took of Christo's Gates in Central Park.

Gift from Peggy

Peggy drew my name in the annual holiday challenge for First Friday artists, and she made me this incredible collaged book, featuring five things I put on a list to signify me. I am still discovering wonderful details throughout. She even goes through the four seasons as the book progresses! Thanks, Peggy!

Stacy is holding the book I made for her. I thought I had taken more photos of all the pages, but looks like I didn't.

Making apples...

I've been making apples, lots of apples.

They are somewhat addictive. :-) I made them from a pattern by Nicole Vaughan on www.craftspalooza.com.

Contemporary Quilt Exhibit at Muzeo Museum in Anaheim

I am happy to say that two of my quilts are in an exhibit of contemporary quilts at the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center in Anaheim. They will be on display November 15 - February 15. The address is 241 South Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, California.

Terry Waldron pulled the collection together, and I am in good company. The artists include Terry Waldron, myself, Linda Anderson, Sherry Kleinman, Jamie Fingal, Sheila Frampton-Cooper, Joe Cunningham, Lura Schwarz Smith, and Kerby Smith.

Purple dress

I took some nice photos of my granddaughter in her new purple dress. This is the one I made from the Oliver and S Playdate pattern. Sweet, huh?
