12 by 12's

Here is the wall of 12 by 12's at Joanell's exhibit at the Unitarian Church in Long Beach. I hear they are coming down in a few days.  Can you see mine? It was nice of her to include us in her exhibit.

Joanell's exhibit

I am so behind in posting. Here are three pieces I whipped out especially for an exhibit that is currently going on in Long Beach. It's a mostly solo show by Joanell Connolly featuring her beautiful work, with an additional "wall" of 12x12 pieces by a few of her art quilt friends. It's at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Long Beach, 5450 E. Atherton St., Long Beach. I don't know how long the exhibit will hang, so see it while you can!

Okay, just a few more photos

I am trying to get caught up with the plethora of photos in my phone. Here are a few of my favorites from a little gathering of local family members and a few old friends...
Sammy and new friend Madeline.
My brother Bob's family photo bombed by Ava. Cute!

Sizzix sneak peek

Here is my granddaughter playing with some leftover flowers I cut with Sizzix dies. I am making something for a fun Sizzix blog Hop coming up in early April, so this is just a sneak peek.
She had so much fun with the flowers. There will be more info soon about the Sizzix blog hop, when you can see what I am making and Sammy's finished project, too!

Visit to the Berry Farm

We went to Knotts Berry Farm one day. That's Sammy on the left.
Dave and I just stayed until after lunch, and then the girls stayed and went on every ride that Sammy was tall enough to ride!

Catching Up

I am drowning in photos. Nothing else to do but try to catch up.

My daughter and granddaughter were here for a visit in February.  It was wonderful spending some time with them, and they were glad to escape a bit of the bitter winter weather. Jack was left behind to take care of their farm.

Anyway, here are a few photos of our time together.
Sammy had to pose with Green Kitty and Gingie wearing matching dresses.
