I am thrilled that my piece "Spring Comes Late" is going to International Quilt Festival – Chicago as part of the "Affinity" exhibition by Dinner at Eight Artists, curated by Jamie Fingal and Leslie Tucker Jenison.
I was happy to see that my letter about the Tilly's mural was published by the Daily Pilot. I was adding my voice to the ocean of people who would like to see the mural preserved. The Irvine planning commission plans to paint over it. Here is the letter. I will try to photograph the mural so that you can see what I'm talking about. Locals can see the mural while driving along the 405 at the intersection of the 133. You can also see it coming north on the 133 (also Laguna Canyon Road) toward the 405.
October-November issue of Quilting Arts Magazine included my quilt in its article about Quilt Alliance's Animals We Love.
