fourth of july

We were lucky enough to go to an Angels game at Anaheim Stadium on the Fourth of July. They opened up this gynormous flag while we sang the national anthem.

 

Then a formation of planes from World War II flew over the stadium. Pretty cool! This was the best I could do as they flew overhead.

 

 

It was a very exciting game, and the Angels won in the last second of the 9th inning. Yay! Then we had fireworks. Now I see the photo I chose is kind of lame. Anyway, they were great!

 

I have put together the quilt top with marbled fabrics, plus I am working on the award ribbons for the quilt show. Lots to do! Including trying to keep cool in this hot weather.
