Dog and chicken

I had paired these two in December. The dog was a gift from the previous Christmas from Warren, and the chicken pin cushion was a gift from my pal Stacy. They remind me of another dog and another chicken.  Hmmm.....
Yay, I found this photo from 2010 of Ginger and Sonny the chicken, taken at my daughter's farm. That's what I was thinking of!

A chicken and a dog together, nad the dog looks like he is friends with the chicken. Amazing!

They were good friends. They used to go into the dog house together. But Sonny got killed by a weasel. The dog in the pic is the same Gingie-Baby who lives at our house now.

The photo on the left is of my granddaughter, of course. It's her first class photo! And she is wearing one of the dresses I sewed for her.
